Education
Education
Education is the foundation of a thriving community. It unleashes potential, creates economic opportunities, and enables people to live satisfying lives. Nonetheless, millions in India continue to lack access to a high-quality education.

Literacy Rate
While India’s literacy rate has greatly increased, it still stands at approximately 77.7% (2021 Census). There is a huge gap between genders and rural/urban locations.
Higher Education Access
Only 27.3% of the appropriate age group pursues higher education (AISHE Report, 2021-22).
Skills Gap: The increasing employment market requires competent individuals, but India has a substantial skill gap, which limits employability.
What we Do ?
Our Activities at JCT is dedicated to closing these educational disparities and is motivated by the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) – Quality Education.
Three main areas are our focus:

Facilitating Higher Education:
We offer merit-based and need-based scholarships to worthy students throughout India, including those with disabilities.Through partnerships and policy initiatives, we promote greater access to higher education.

Furnishing Institutions of Higher Learning:
We advocate for the founding and growth of universities and colleges, with an emphasis on underprivileged areas and specialised subjects.

Skill Development & Vocational Training:
We provide programmes for skill development and vocational training that are in line with industry demands, improving our youth’s employability.
